This Privacy Policy explains how QUICKTRUCKS INCORPORATED ("QuickTrucks," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains information when shippers, motor carriers, drivers, factoring companies, and other business users use the QuickTrucks website, mobile application, communications systems, and freight-brokerage services.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Business, carrier, and driver profile information
We may collect legal and trade names, business contact information, EIN or tax information, physical and mailing addresses, FMCSA USDOT and MC numbers, authority and insurance information, W-9 information, carrier qualification records, truck or unit information, driver information, and other information reasonably required to establish, verify, administer, or maintain an account.
1.2 Load, booking, and service information
We collect information needed to post, negotiate, book, manage, and document freight, including pickup and delivery locations, dates and appointment details, equipment, commodity, weight, rate information, notes, support communications, proof documents, photos, timestamps, detention information, and other shipment records.
1.3 Communications information
When you contact QuickTrucks, our communications systems may collect or log caller ID information, phone numbers, call timestamps, call duration, voicemail, text-message records, consent and opt-out records, support interactions, and related communications metadata. Communications may be handled by human staff, automated systems, or AI-assisted tools for purposes such as responding to load inquiries, providing requested app links, coordinating service, and supporting active shipments.
2. Location and mobile-device information
The QuickTrucks mobile application may collect precise or approximate device location while a driver is assigned to an active shipment and location is needed for pickup, transit, delivery, detention, status, safety, or proof-of-service functions. Depending on device permissions and the shipment stage, this may include background location information when the application is closed or not actively displayed.
Location information is used to support QuickTrucks Load Support, provide shipment-status information to authorized parties, reduce manual check calls, verify arrival or departure events, support detention timing, and document pickup and delivery. Location tracking is not intended to operate indefinitely outside applicable active-load functions.
3. Banking and payment information
3.1 Shipper payments through Stripe
QuickTrucks uses Stripe to support eligible shipper bank payments and related payment processing. Shipper bank-account credentials and bank-login information may be collected or processed directly by Stripe or its service providers. QuickTrucks does not intentionally store raw online-banking login credentials on its application servers.
3.2 Carrier and factoring-company ACH information
Carriers who select direct ACH, and factoring companies that are valid payment assignees, may provide bank routing and account information needed for payment administration. QuickTrucks may use this information for bank verification, payment-file preparation, payment reconciliation, returns, corrections, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, and other functions reasonably necessary to administer ACH payments through QuickTrucks' financial institution.
QuickTrucks applies administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect sensitive banking information and to render covered account information unreadable when stored electronically where required by applicable security standards. No security control can eliminate all risk.
4. How we use information
We may use information to:
- create, verify, and administer shipper, carrier, and driver accounts;
- post, negotiate, book, manage, track, and document freight transactions;
- verify authority, insurance, identity, safety, tax, and payment information;
- provide QuickTrucks Load Support and respond to service requests;
- collect shipper payments and pay carriers or verified factoring companies;
- send requested app links, account notices, booking updates, shipment updates, and other transactional communications;
- prevent fraud, unauthorized activity, double brokering, and abuse;
- maintain accounting, brokerage, tax, safety, and legally required records; and
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve QuickTrucks services.
5. Service providers and other disclosures
QuickTrucks may disclose information to service providers and business partners only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, process payments, provide communications, post loads, host or secure systems, verify compliance, provide professional services, or satisfy legal obligations.
5.1 Stripe
Payment-related information may be transmitted to Stripe for shipper bank-payment processing, verification, fraud prevention, settlement, and related payment services.
5.2 Truckstop
When QuickTrucks posts available freight to Truckstop, QuickTrucks may transmit shipment and posting details reasonably necessary to advertise and manage the load, such as origin, destination, pickup and delivery information, equipment, commodity, weight, rate or offer information, notes, and QuickTrucks contact information. QuickTrucks does not intentionally transmit private in-app negotiation logs or user authentication credentials as part of ordinary load posting.
5.3 Communications providers
QuickTrucks may use communications providers, including RingCentral and Vonage, to support business calling, SMS, requested app-link delivery, masked or in-app calling, call routing, and load-support communications. These providers may process phone numbers, communications metadata, consent status, and related data as necessary to provide their services.
5.4 Legal, safety, and compliance disclosures
QuickTrucks may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, insurance or safety obligations, protect users or the public, investigate fraud or misuse, enforce agreements, or protect QuickTrucks' rights.
6. Mobile number and SMS privacy
No mobile numbers, text-message opt-in data, or SMS consent information collected by QuickTrucks will be sold, leased, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
QuickTrucks may share mobile information with service providers that process communications on our behalf solely as necessary to deliver the requested or authorized service. Message frequency varies based on account activity, load inquiries, active bookings, shipment coordination, and user-requested transactions. Message and data rates may apply.
For SMS program details, including STOP and HELP instructions, see our SMS Terms & Conditions.
7. Data security
QuickTrucks uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. Security practices may include access controls, encryption or other methods that render sensitive information unreadable where appropriate, monitoring, logging, credential management, and service-provider controls. No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
QuickTrucks retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for brokerage operations, transaction records, accounting, tax, safety, payment administration, dispute handling, fraud prevention, contractual obligations, legal requirements, and legitimate business purposes. Certain transportation and financial records may be retained after account closure when required or reasonably necessary.
9. Your choices
You may contact QuickTrucks to request correction of account or business information. You may opt out of SMS by replying STOP to a QuickTrucks text. Certain records cannot be deleted immediately when retention is required for legal, payment, safety, compliance, or dispute purposes.
